On Wednesday, September 11, the time had come: the first (midweek) match of the new field season. At 8:00 PM, we played against EKCA from Arnhem. Before that, there was an opportunity to eat pancakes on Westerhofseweg, and most of the team took advantage of the offer. It took a bit of effort beforehand to…
June 5 had long been marked in my calendar. The last midweek match was scheduled for that day, and after a long absence, I could finally make my midweek comeback. Everyone was naturally looking forward to it. Even in Canada, the midweek games were followed, and it was often a disappointment on Wednesday afternoons when…
The last home game of the season was a beautiful one, Débaldérin against Skunk. This match was particularly special on a personal level as well, as it marked the handover from former match secretary Willemijn to myself. It was naturally exciting, but fortunately, Willemijn helped where needed, and an excellent lineup was on the field….
On Wednesday, April 17, the game against Noviomagum was played. Of course, this couldn’t happen without a well-filled stomach. Delicious pancakes were prepared for the game by Deen! And these were quickly eaten by the match players. The first obstacle had to be overcome before we could cycle to the Bongerd, namely the unpredictable stormy…

Teammates Jurren and Jelmer agreed in the morning to go ice skating on flooded meadows in the Binnenveld. Although Jelmer has been a member for almost two years, playing midweek matches with Débaldérin have always been fatal…
It was a busy week for Débaldérin. GMM on Monday, training on Tuesday, a match on Wednesday and then training on Thursday. In addition, many members were actually still tired of the G-Cup. It was therefore not surprising that it was difficult to find enthusiasm for an autumnal bike ride through the infield to and…
Yes, yes, the time had finally come, the first indoor match in Wageningen was played on Tuesday, November 7. The Débalérin team against Hazenkamp. Our team lined up strongly with 6 ladies and 6 men. The match started with a great lead for our team. However, our opponents did not simply give up and came…
After the victory against De Hazenkamp, it was time for the 2nd indoor match on November 15. This time against Noviomagum in Lent. After a short discussion, it was decided that Jan Linders provided a nice base to gather and leave by car to the club mentioned.Once arrived and warmed up, Bart Merks opened the…
Thursday 17 October it was finally time, the match that would be won. With a team of the most dangerous players of Débaldérin including star player Fons. And the latter is a rarity since the switch of star player Fons to KCD, the self-proclaimed but poorly substantiated ‘cozy korfball club Doorn’. Well, because this match…
