Students play korfball at Débaldérin!
To be able to pursue your degree, you’ll probably have to move. Maybe you’ll have to cancel your membership at your korfball club in your hometown, or it’s just too much hassle to attend trainings on weekdays. It would be a shame if your studies have to stand in the way of korfball. Luckily, that doesn’t have to be the case!
If you join Débaldérin, you can continue to play korfball, and what’s a better extra-cirriculum activity than playing this great sport with your fellow students? You can play competitive matches, join tournaments, or just come for trainings. During the tournaments, you play against students from other cities, nationally as well as internationally. Money shouldn’t be an issue, because membership only costs €32,50 a year. When you want to become a member, you do have to buy sports rights from de Bongerd. Sports rights are mandatory and must be purchased annually. You can do that here.
We are a growing, very active club. Besides playing korfball, many other activities are offered. Just check out our pictures to get a taste for it!
Curious?
Just come by at a training!
The introduction trainings we organize at the start of each academic year are an excellent way to learn about the club. To participate in these is completely free of charge, you don’t even need sports rights. For the academic year 2025 - 2026, introduction trainings will be held on:
- Tuesday, September 2 at 19:00
- Tuesday, September 9 at 19:00
- Tuesday, September 16 at 19:00
All introduction trainings will take place on the astroturf field of sports centre De Bongerd and will be led by our trainer Matthijs van den Berg.
If you want to become a member, or if you have any questions, feel free to send an email to our secretary using the contactform or by sending an email to st.debalderin@wur.nl. You can also download a registration form here.
If you want to cancel your membership, please do so before June 30th! If you don’t cancel in time, you will be expected to pay membership the following academic year.
See you at one of the trainings!
